An afternoon of Charleston workshops with Shell & Tim and Lee & Seema followed by an hour of social dance to practice what you have learned!
Two levels of workshops are on offer. Choose your level depending on your previous Charleston experience:
Level 1: You are a complete beginner or have very limited experience in partnered Charleston. This workshop will teach the foundations of partnered Charleston, working on technique to then move on to some simple moves that will have you kicking up a storm on the dancefloor!
Level 2-3: You have mastered the foundations of partnered Charleston, and you are comfortable with the rhythms, pulse and connecting with your partner. You have experience of tandem charleston, but perhaps it needs a little more work. You are looking to add to your repertoire of moves to add some styling and energy to the dancefloor!
